Intelliware builds CIPA Gold Award winning software product

CIPA AwardsToronto, Ontario, Canada – November 18, 2005 -- Intelliware is thrilled to announce that ADP’s Smart Prospectus service was awarded the 2005 CIPA Gold Best of Category award for Customer Care. Smart Prospectus is an outsourced service that offers investment and mutual fund dealers a more effective way to print and mail mutual fund trade confirms and prospectuses to Canadian investors.

ADP had capacity constraints on resources needed to build the product and at the same time faced time-to-market pressures. Intelliware was engaged by ADP as their outsourced Java development partner to build the software application that is at the core of the service. Using the i-Proving methodology for software product development, Intelliware worked closely with ADP’s business and technical resources to create a delivery roadmap based on the functional requirements of the solution.
 
Intelliware executed on the delivery of the software product in an iterative, staged manner focusing on building the simplest thing that would solve the business problem. That was balanced with the need for the application to be completely reliable to the investment community, to be scalable for transaction volumes, and to be easily expandable for future functionality needed by ADP’s customers. The project was co-located at ADP in Mississauga and at Intelliware in Toronto.

This industry recognition by the distinguished list of CIPA judges is further validation that Intelliware has the capability of building innovative, best in class software products.
