Quality Assurance Analyst
Responsibilities and accountabilities
- Facilitating discussions between management, clients and developers to identify and document functional requirements
- Developing and documenting a test plan to ensure appropriate testing of the application code developed by the project team
- Developing, documenting and executing test cases to verify the application code developed by the project team
- Gathering and processing business information related to procedures, data and processes to clarify business issues and requirements
- Helping deliver projects successfully on-time and on-budget to the client’s satisfaction
- Managing relationships with team and clients specifically related to project requirements
“Must have" Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three years minimum quality assurance experience
- Proven ability to interact effectively and professionally with clients
- Solid business, technical and project management skills
- Intense problem solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to consolidate diverse business requirements and facilitate realistic, common sense solutions
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Solid understanding of technologies
- Ability to multi-task
"Nice to have" skills and qualifications
- Experience with software development lifecycles and methodologies
- Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development
- Experience using object-oriented programming languages and concepts
- Technical business analysis experience
- Experience designing or developing business requirements (UML)
- Diverse outside interests
